Can you believe the holiday season is already upon us? Here at Horn Family Chiropractic, this is one of our favorite times of year – not just because of the twinkling lights and cozy sweaters, but because we get to come together as a community to help our neighbors in need. Our Athens PA chiropractor can help.

Our Holiday Heart of Giving is Back!

We're kicking off TWO beloved traditions that we've been proud to continue for years:

Holiday Food Drive

This November marks over THREE DECADES of our annual food drive! That's right – for more than 30 years, we've been collecting non-perishable food items to help local families, food banks, and churches ensure everyone has a warm meal during the holidays. It's a tradition our team and patients look forward to every single year.

The Mitten Tree

Starting after Thanksgiving, our office will transform as we begin decorating our special Christmas tree – but not with ornaments! Inspired by the heartwarming children's book The Mitten Tree by Candace Christiansen, we're collecting hats, gloves, scarves, mittens, and all kinds of cold-weather gear for people of all ages. Since 2015, this has been one of our most cherished holiday traditions, and we can't wait to see the tree fill up again this year.

How You Can Help in Athens PA

It's simple! Just bring your donations to our Athens office during your next visit:

• Food Drive: Non-perishable food items (canned goods, pasta, rice, cereal, etc.)
• Mitten Tree: New, hand-knitted, or gently used mittens and warm winter accessories for all ages

Every single donation – no matter how big or small – makes a real difference to families right here in our community. All items will be distributed to local schools, churches, and families who need them most.

There's something truly magical about seeing our patients rally together year after year to support those in need. Whether you bring one can of soup or a whole bag of winter gear, you're helping make someone's holiday season a little brighter and warmer.
